January 2025 Principal’s Message

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a restful and rejuvenating holiday season, filled with joy and connection with loved ones. As we step into 2025, I am excited about the opportunities and growth this new year holds for our students and our school community.

The beginning of January is a time for fresh starts and renewed focus. In the coming months, our teachers and staff are committed to supporting all students as they set goals and strive for success in both their academics and personal growth. Whether it’s preparing for final exams in high school, building foundational skills in the elementary years, or nurturing curiosity and creativity in our youngest learners, we are here to ensure that every student feels supported and inspired.

As a rural school, we are fortunate to be deeply rooted in the traditions and values of our community. Let’s continue to celebrate our shared commitment to excellence in education and the unique strengths that each of our students brings to the classroom.

If you have not paid your school resource fees, please do so as soon as possible or make arrangements.  We accept cash, debit or e-transfers for all fees. You may use the following email address for all e-transfers:  ssfees@westwind.ab.ca. Thank you!

Hot lunch order forms will be available online at stirlingschool.ca and/or there will be a few available at the school office. February’s hot lunch order form is due January 29th. The parent council is always looking to have more parents assist with hot lunches; please contact any of the members of the Parent Council if you are interested.
