February 2025 Principal’s Message

As February unfolds, we find ourselves at the midpoint of the school year – a time to reflect on our journey so far and embrace the opportunities ahead. February is a month of kindness and collaboration. From Random Acts of Kindness Week to Valentine’s Day celebrations, we encourage our students to demonstrate empathy and gratitude toward one another. Small gestures can make a big impact, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

Academically, we continue to strive for excellence. With the second term underway, it’s inspiring to see our students, from our youngest learners in Pre-K to our Grade 12 leaders, engage with curiosity and determination. Whether it’s mastering early literacy skills, preparing for exams, or planning for life beyond graduation, each student’s progress is important to our staff.

Extracurricular activities also keep our school vibrant during these winter months. Whether it’s on the basketball court, on the wrestling mat, in the theatre with our musical production or the band, we are proud of the enthusiasm and talent our students bring to every endeavour. Thank you to our staff, parents, and volunteers who make these opportunities possible.  Please check our Stirling School website under the Athletic calendar to get all of the latest information. Junior and senior high basketball play-offs will be posted as soon as we know who is hosting when, where, and time. Thank you for continuously supporting our student-athletes.
