January Principal’s Message

Happy New Year! I hope this principal’s message, finds you well-rested after this festive season. School starts again on January 8 at 8:10. Our first diploma exam will be two days after we return with English 30-1 and 30-2 part A being written on Wednesday, January 10th. Our full final exam schedule will be posted on our website and is included in the “January at a Glance” further down this posting.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Wehlage and Mrs. Merrills, as they directed the elementary through another successful Christmas concert.  We want to thank all of you who came to support your young children. 

I also want to take this opportunity to thank those of you who donated games to our school.  These math-based math games will help lots of our students. We are still looking for more, click the link, to see what games are still on our wishlist.

If you have not done so, we ask that you please pay your resource fees ASAP or make arrangements at the school office. We accept cash, debit, or e-transfers for all fees. You may use the following email address for all e-transfers:  ssfees@westwind.ab.ca. Thank you!

Hot lunch order forms will be available online at stirlingschool.ca, and/or there will be a few available at the school office. 

Parent-Council meeting will be held on January 25th at 2:15 pm in the school staff room.
