December 2024 Principal’s Message

As we approach the end of the year, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on our accomplishments and the joy this season brings. December is a time for celebration, gratitude, and giving back. Our school has been bustling with learning, creativity, and collaboration, and I couldn’t be more proud of our students, staff, and families.

This month, we have a host of exciting events to close the year on a high note. I encourage you to join us and stay connected as we embrace the season and prepare for a bright new year ahead.

Seasonal Reminders

• Dress Warmly: Please ensure students are bundled up for cold weather.
• Attendance: If your child will be absent, notify the office.
• Drivers: Please be cautious when driving in front of the school, young students don’t always pay attention when they cross the road.
• Holiday Cheer: Encourage kindness and inclusion during this season of giving.

If you have not paid your school resource fees, please do so as soon as possible or make arrangements.  We accept cash, debit or e-transfers for all fees. You may use the following email address for all e-transfers:  ssfees@westwind.ab.ca. Thank you!

Hot lunch order forms will be available online at stirlingschool.ca and/or there will be a few available at the school office. January’s hot lunch order form is due December 19th. The parent council is always looking to have more parents assist with hot lunches; please contact any of the members of the Parent Council if you are interested.
