Stirling School Return to School Plan

Although Stirling School Return to School document, available below, is lengthy, it provides a comprehensive overview of our return to school this September, and likely answers many of the questions you may have. Please read through it carefully.

We are so excited to be starting the school year back in classrooms! Please know that we are adhering to AHS guidelines in order to keep children as safe as possible and to promote a POSITIVE learning environment. Our hope is to remain in Scenario 1, which allows us to have all students in the building each day. In order for us to do so, we need to be partners in this process. You can do your part by following all guidelines and communicating effectively with your child’s homeroom teacher(s), and the administration. We ask for your positive support and cooperation during this time. Please be cognizant and communicate with the school, so that we can continue to amend our protocol in order to help ALL members of our school stay safe and adjust accordingly. This document and the practices outlined therein will likely change, as per ongoing AHS and divisional requirements.

Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

Stirling School’s Staggered Start for Grades 1-12 Students

With the start of a new school year around the corner, we are excited to have all of our students back on campus.  We also acknowledge that it’s been a long time since we were all back in the building.  To alleviate some of the stresses that are always present on the first day of school, we plan to do a staggered entry by having approximately half the students come for half the day to learn the new rules and expectations. We hope with this plan that some of the fears and anxieties will be lessened.  The afternoon will then be used to invite parents of students with special needs or high anxiety to schedule meetings with their child’s teacher and to get things ready for the following day’s group.  All students will come together on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
