May 2022 Principal’s Message

I am so excited for our school’s “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” production,  May 4th - 7th.  Tickets have been on sale, and they are going fast, three shows are already sold out. Please contact the school office during school hours or take your chances at the door (no guarantees). Come and support our students who have been rehearsing since last fall, but daily for the past two months and are excited to show off their talents.  A huge thank you goes out to Mandy Nilsson and Rena Proctor, who have been the directors for this play since last summer. I have peeked into the rehearsals and all students are doing an amazing job, including the ones behind the scenes.  Also, a huge thank-you goes out to all the parent volunteers who have been sewing, fitting, building props, etc., to make this play possible.  On the week of the performance, there will be many more involved behind the scenes; thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We will be holding our graduation ceremony Friday, May 27.  The ceremony will start around 7 pm, and we encourage our whole community to support and celebrate our grade 12 students. Remember it takes a village to raise a kid.

Unfortunately, no parents showed up for the “Reconnect with your Teen” with Mrs. Margie Hartley last month, and she will re-try at a later date.

I would like to take this time to thank all those who have provided hot lunch on Wednesdays during the school year.  Your efforts have been noticed and appreciated. However, parents, please be aware that there is NO HOT LUNCH ON WEDNESDAYS DURING JUNE.

The May Parent Council zoom meeting will be held on May 26th at 1:00 pm. If you are interested in getting involved, please come to the meeting. This is the meeting for elections for next year’s council. Here is the Zoom link to the meeting.

All school news will be posted on our website Look for “Love and Logic” articles to help all parents under the parent tab.

If you still need to pay your school fees, field trips, or any other fees, we accept cash, debit, and E-transfers to
